Hello! My name is Devan Blohm and I am a 20 year old artist who was born and raised in the Matsu valley. During my childhood I was encouraged by my parents to develop my creativity and imagination and took formal drawing and watercolor classes here and there to help facilitate a more structured side to my artistic learning. Mostly though, I enjoyed to doodle. All over.  All over everything.  I did not become more serious about my drawing skills until my senior year of high school. It was then that I decided to attempt to hone in on a more technical style. In light of that decision, for the last two years while I have been pursuing my Associate of Arts degree, I have taken as many art classes as my schedule would allow. Academic Epidemic is a peek into the work I have done in class over these past two years. Though they are not my most imaginative pieces, and they are not all professionally clean and pristine, each and every one has been lovingly worked on for hours on end and represent a process of growing. They are an expression of my devotion to broadening my learning and my wild endless joy of being given this gift to love and worship the One who gave it to me.
